Terms & Conditions

Clear information about bookings, payments, attendance and participation at THA Football Centres.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sessions delivered by THA Football Centres. By booking onto any session, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Bookings & Payments

All bookings are made through ClassForKids.

Sessions are paid for on a monthly basis. Existing players are automatically enrolled for the following month and will receive an invoice for the upcoming month.

Payment must be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice. If payment is not received within this period, the player may be removed from the register and the place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. If you wish to return later, you may need to rejoin the waiting list.

Holding Your Place

If your child will be absent for a full month but you wish to keep their place, the monthly payment must still be made. If payment is not made, the place may be released and offered to someone on the waiting list.

Trials

Trials are paid as a one-off session. If your child wishes to continue after the trial, they will be added to the register and payment will be required for the remaining sessions that month.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your child’s place, please provide at least 7 days’ notice before the next monthly payment cycle. This allows us to remove your child from the following month’s register. If notice is given late, you may still be required to pay for the next month.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for missed sessions. We do not offer partial refunds if a player stops attending part way through the month. Monthly payments are non-refundable.

Missed Sessions

If your child misses a session due to illness, holidays or personal circumstances, the session is forfeited. We do not provide refunds, credits or make-up sessions.

If THA Cancels a Session

If THA Football Centres cancels a session due to weather, coach illness or venue issues, the session will be carried over and delivered as a free session the following month.

Behaviour Policy

We aim to provide a safe and positive environment for all children. If a child’s behaviour is consistently disruptive or unsafe, the following process may be used:

  1. Verbal reminder.
  2. Formal warning to the parent or carer.
  3. Removal from the session on an ongoing basis.

In serious cases, or where behaviour poses a risk to others, a child may be removed from sessions immediately.

If a child is removed due to behaviour, a refund will be provided for any remaining sessions that month.

Safeguarding & Parent Responsibility

Parents and carers are encouraged to watch sessions where possible. THA Football Centres takes safeguarding seriously and will always act in the best interests of the child in an emergency.

Responsibility for the child transfers to the THA coach at the start of the session and returns to the parent or carer at collection. THA Football Centres is not responsible for children before or after the session times.

Collection

If someone else will be collecting your child, please notify us in advance. We may ask for a password or confirmation before allowing a child to leave with another adult.

Medical Information

All medical information must be provided through ClassForKids. By booking, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you consent to basic first aid being administered if required.

Photography & Video

THA Football Centres may take photographs and videos during sessions for marketing purposes. Consent preferences can be managed through your booking information. All content is handled with strict safeguarding procedures and is checked and vetted before being used for marketing.

Clothing & Footwear

Shin pads are strongly recommended for children aged 5 and over. Players must wear suitable footwear for the surface and venue.

Footwear guidance

  • Indoor venues: trainers or astro trainers.
  • 2G astro surfaces: astro trainers only; no boots.
  • 3G surfaces: moulded boots or astro trainers; no metal studs.

Players wearing unsafe footwear may not be able to participate.

Liability

Football involves an element of risk. By booking onto a session, parents and carers accept this. THA Football Centres is not liable for injury, loss or damage unless caused by negligence.

Session Changes

If you wish to change session, location or group, please email simon@theholmshawacademy.com. Changes may involve moving to another register or joining a waiting list, depending on availability.
