THA creates positive football environments where children can develop their game, confidence and love of football.
Why THA exists
Supportive steps between every starting point.
There can be a large gap between not playing football and joining grassroots football, and another between grassroots football and more advanced development environments. THA exists to offer supportive steps between those places.
Founded by Simon Holmshaw, Sam Holmshaw and Ethan Holmeshaw through their experience in junior football, THA is for children who are taking their first kick, building their game within grassroots football or looking for the right next challenge.
Enjoyment and development matter whatever a child’s destination.

People behind THA
Leadership, coaching and player analysis working together.
Simon, Sam and Ethan founded THA around a shared belief in positive, detailed and person-first football development. Sam is THA’s Technical Director and Ethan is Operations Director; both studied sports coaching at Leeds Beckett and hold bachelor’s/master’s and UEFA B qualifications. Simon is Managing Director, has more than 20 years of coaching experience and is Level 1 qualified.
Together with the wider THA team, they help create an environment where children can enjoy the game and progress in their own way.
